About the IHG Hotels & Resorts affiliate program
IHG runs on CJ Affiliate as regional advertisers; the Americas programme is 1675692, with separate European and AMEA entities. It pays 3.00% on hotel bookings made through the website and the same 3.00% on in-app bookings tracked via AppsFlyer, both on a 14-day referral period with unlimited occurrences and open-ended locking. App installs are tracked but pay nothing. The commission base is narrow: commissions are earned solely on the room rate, with no additional costs or charges eligible — the one exception being Iberostar Beachfront Resorts, where the all-inclusive rate including the meal plan counts. The exclusion lists are among the longest on CJ. Kimpton properties in the US and Canada, Six Senses and military properties are non-commissionable brands outright, and the excluded rate types run to dozens of entries including employee, friends and family, group, Canada government, AARP, ambassador and reward nights, and a long tail of free-night certificates. Japanese bookings must go through ihg.com rather than the local reservation domain. Travel agents with an existing negotiated IHG relationship cannot also claim affiliate commission. On the positive side, software and sub-affiliates are both permitted, which is unusual for a hotel group.
