Hotels.com
Expedia Group’s hotel brand on CJ, paying 4% on lodging with a 7-day window. North America only, and flights earn nothing.
About the Hotels.com affiliate program
Hotels.com has been on CJ Affiliate since August 2006 (advertiser 1702763) and is part of Expedia Group, alongside Expedia, Vrbo, Wotif, Cheaptickets, FeWo-direkt, Orbitz and Travelocity — all separately applicable on CJ. The current North American terms group is labelled CPN 0% / LODG 4% / VR 2% / CAR 1.5% / CW:7, and that reads exactly as it looks: 4.00% on conventional lodging, 2.00% on vacation rentals, 1.50% on car rental, and 0.00% on anything booked with a coupon. The referral period is 7 days with unlimited occurrences and open-ended locking, and Hotels.com notes the window covers any booking made within it rather than only the property you linked to. Three constraints matter more than the rate. Commission is due on completed hotel stays only — flights and every other line of business pay nothing. The serviceable area is the United States and Canada, with international points of sale tracked separately and non-commissionable, and CJ conversion data shows 94% of orders from the US. And where a customer pays with a gift card, that balance is applied to the room cost first, so the commissionable amount shrinks before taxes and fees are stripped out as well. Browser extensions are prohibited outright, sub-affiliate networks and influencer networks need prior written approval, and only coupons supplied through the CJ account manager may be promoted — Expedia Group states that publishers promoting non-affiliate offers face reversals, programme removal and network removal.
